What did you know about CrossFit before coming here?
I took part in a few hero WOD’s on deployment.
How did you find out about CrossFit and why did you start?
On deployment there was a box on camp and I could see the intensity and the passion each person brought every day. That was something I wanted to be part. When I came home my wife told me about a new box that just opened by our house. I stopped in on my way home from work and talk to JT. Just by talking to him I could feel his passion. I knew that this was going to be my new home.
How has CrossFit changed your life, lifestyle and level of fitness?
I feel over all healthier. Crossfit teaches you how to work efficiently and how to correct you deficiently in your movements. I wake up now looking forward to going to my BOX because no matter what the WOD is I will walk (or crawl) out better then when I went in.
How long have you been doing CrossFit?
Since November 2015
What is your favorite movement?
Is there a workout or movement you would like to see more of?
To be able to get in a good overhead squat position and start adding weight.
Describe your biggest milestone, achievement or “A-ha” moment?
16.2 When I was dead tired all I could hear is my box cheering me on. When I look up I was the last person going. Never would I think that I would go that far. All my hard work paid off.
